Since its joint inception with Chien Yeh Certified Public Accountants , the Firm has been well known for its ability to provide clients with not only legal advices, but also wide-ranging commercial and industrial advices, including accounting, taxation, investment and reorganization.
In addition to collaborating with other domestic and international law offices, the Firm once worked closely with Coopers & Lybrand, Chien Yeh Certified Public Accountants' former alliance firm, on cross-border cases. Currently, the Firm is collaborating with major domestic CPA firms to fully serve their needs. Founded by Professor Dr. S. S. Tzeng in Taipei in 1973 and thereafter headed by Dr. Shen-I Lee and Dr. Carl K. M. Wu, CHIEN YEH LAW OFFICES (the “Firm”) has been providing high quality full legal services to serve our clients' needs for over 30 years. Assuming the position of managing partner in 1994, Mr. Alex C. Y. Tsai has led the transformation of the Firm, through global integration and expansion, into a four offices international law firm in Taiwan . With more than 90 staff, the Firm has enjoyed continuous growth since its establishment. 
To better serve our clients efficiently, the Firm now has four offices in Taiwan : Taipei Branch, Taichung Branch, Kaohsiung Branch, and a liaison office in Tainan Science-based Industrial Park. Once as Akin Gump Strauss Hauser LLP's official affiliated office in Taiwan from 2005 to 2007, the Firm's attorneys joined forces with attorneys from this aforesaid firm's branches in the U.S., the U.K., Belgium, Russia and the UAE (with more than 1,000 attorneys total) to form a complete, worldwide legal services network. Since then, the Firm has maintained close business contacts with major law firms in the U.S. , Japan , and the People's Republic of China (“ China ”) and continues to provide our domestic and international clients comprehensive services with a global reach.
